Join us and enjoy a 1-mile hike that begins at the River Trail and ends at the Nature Play Trail for after-hike fun! The hike will be led by Emma from Brown Family Environmental Center.

Meet Up Point: Kokosing gravel parking lot next to the Nature Play Trail

Driving directions or specific instructions for finding the location: If you turn onto Laymon Rd from OH-229 E/E Gambier St, the parking lot is the 2nd right.

A 1-mile loop including parts of the Labyrinth and River Trails and ends back at the Nature Play Trail.

Trails are a combination of grass and packed dirt, are mostly flat with some gentle inclines and declines. The majority of the trail is shaded with some sunny spots.

TRAIL:

There is a port-a-potty available at the river access parking lot (the right before you reach the Nature Play Trail parking lot)

Parents/Guardians must stay with their child at all times. We encourage family participation!

Registration is required and space is limited. Please reserve a ticket for every person that will be attending (including parents). Register today to reserve your spots!

NOTES:

We will be outside in the sun, we recommend wearing sun protections (sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, etc.) and bringing water.

To reduce the risk of ticks and bug bites, we recommend wearing bug spray, closed-toed shoes, and long pants.
