Join us for our Family Connections Event!
Come to meet other families, share ideas, and learn about resources.
FREE to attend | No refreshments per location rules

Parents & caregivers of children with educational plans (IEPs, 504s, etc.) and/or served by KCBDD, Help Me Grow or Early Intervention, and their siblings are welcome to attend.
Family Connections Program
Family Connections is a new program that is all about making connections! Knox DD will host a family-friendly event each month to provide you the opportunity to:
Connect with families who have similar, shared experiences.
Connect kids with their peers through play with activities provided at each event.
Connect to your community by exploring family-friendly sites in
Knox County that support an inclusive community.
Connect to resources available to you and your family.

Fredericktown Splash Pad at Kokosing Park (69 N Main St, Fredericktown OH 43019)
Meet Up Point: Umbrella table
Kids activities will include exploring the new, fully accessible splashpad. Water fun
guaranteed!
While your kids have fun, enjoy some time to get to know fellow parents and caregivers.
Knox DD staff will be available to share resources and to share updates about
expanding the Family Connections Program offers!
Stay for the duration or just drop by, we'd love to see you!
DETAILS:
Due to splashpad rules, no food or drink is allowed on site so there will be no refreshments for this event.

Fully accessible restrooms are available.
Parents/Guardians must stay with their child at all times. We encourage family participation!
In the event of inclement weather, the outing will be canceled and rescheduled. Please check facebook.com/KCBDD (you don't need to have a
Facebook profile to see our public posts) or call 330-390-5175 the day of the event for the latest updates.
Registration IS REQUIRED. Please reserve a ticket for every person that will be attending (including parents). Register today to reserve your spots!
NOTES:
We will be outside in the sun, we recommend your family wear sun protections (sunscreen, hat, etc.).
Family Connections Events welcome children and adults with disabilities, their parents, caregivers, and siblings.
