December 10, 10am - Hellbender Nature Preserve

Join us and enjoy a less than 1-mile hike that explores the Hellbender Preserve and a part of the Kokosing Gap Trail.

WHERE: Hellbender Preserve (23316 Coshocton Rd. Howard 43028)

Meet Up Point: Rotary Park parking lot

The loop will be a little less than 1 mile.

Trails are a combination of paved and packed dirt paths.

There are steps to access the Hellbender trail from the Kokosing Gap Trail (see pictures on the online sign-up) The trail is mostly flat with some gentle inclines and declines. The majority of the trail is shaded.

TRAIL: There are bathrooms open at the Rotary Park.

Parents/Guardians must stay with their child at all times. We encourage family participation!

NOTES: We will be outside and it is getting cooler out, we recommend wearing layers and bringing water. To reduce the risk of ticks and bug bites, we recommend wearing bug spray, closed-toed shoes, and long pants.
